Using Publisher Champ with Safari

· 3 min read

If Safari is your preferred browser, you can continue using it for your everyday Publisher Champ analysis.

You can sign in, access your data and use Publisher Champ as normal in Safari. The only step that Safari does not currently support is synchronising your publishing and advertising platforms through the Publisher Champ browser extension.

The solution is simple: use one of our supported browsers for the synchronisation step, then return to Safari to view and analyse your updated data.

What can I do in Safari?

Safari works normally for accessing Publisher Champ. You can use it to:

  • View your latest data
  • Check dashboards, reports and charts
  • Filter and compare your results
  • Analyse sales, royalties and advertising performance
  • Continue your usual day-to-day Publisher Champ workflow

In short, you do not need to stop using Safari.

What can I not do in Safari?

The Publisher Champ browser extension is not currently available for Safari. Because the extension is required for platform synchronisation, that specific step needs to be completed in another supported browser.

This limitation applies only to the synchronisation process. It does not prevent you from signing in to Publisher Champ or accessing data that has already been synchronised.

Which browsers does Publisher Champ support?

You can use any of the following browsers to synchronise your platforms:

BrowserBrowserBrowser

Opera logoArc logoMozilla Firefox logo

The simple Safari workflow

  1. Open one of the supported browsers listed above.
  2. Install the Publisher Champ browser extension if you have not already done so.
  3. Sign in to Publisher Champ and synchronise your platforms.
  4. Allow the synchronisation to complete.
  5. Return to Safari, sign in to Publisher Champ and continue your everyday analysis.

Your data belongs to your Publisher Champ account, not to a particular browser. Once the synchronisation has been processed, the updated data will be available when you open Publisher Champ in Safari.

tip

Keep one supported browser installed for synchronisation. You only need to open it when you need to complete an extension-based sync; Safari can remain your main browser for daily analysis.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to switch away from Safari permanently?

No. You only need a supported browser for the extension-based synchronisation step. You can continue using Safari as your main browser for accessing and analysing your Publisher Champ data.

Will I see the same data in Safari?

Yes. After the synchronisation has completed, sign in to the same Publisher Champ account in Safari to access your updated data.

Do I need to repeat my analysis in the other browser?

No. Use the other browser to synchronise your platforms, then continue your normal analysis in Safari.

Ready to synchronise?

Open the Publisher Champ account setup page in one of the supported browsers above and follow the steps for your platforms. Once the sync is complete, simply return to Safari.
